I would rather spend my money anywhere else. I walked around the store and asked 2 different workers where something was and they helped but the main manager stopped the cashier from ringing out MY 1 ITEM because I didn’t have my mask because I have hard breathing. And instead of giving me a mask they forced me to buy a mask just so I could by a heater. Then he told me to not come back to his store because I have troubles breathing with a mask. I ordered all new Crestline windows and patio door for our cabin, a very large and expensive order. Crestline manufactured the wrong patio door and Menards is stonewalling me over getting the correct door re-installed. They finally agreed to replace the door since it was clearly their mistake, but they won’t stand by the installation costs. I paid $600.00 to have the door installed; my installers were not aware of Menards mistake. 4 mask-less Amish people walk into the store ahead of me. Not a single peep from a store employee. I walk in right behind them, also mask-less. I was approached so fast by so many employees, it was like a police raid!!!! I was refused assistance to locate the item I came for because I was mask-less. When I was asked why I was being confronted and followed throughout the store by 3 managers and 2 associates, but other mask-less people were free to roam... they stated that masks are mandatory. Apparently our local Menards thinks it's appropriate to remove our elderly with breathing issues for not wearing masks. Escorting a 70yr old man out of your store, attempting to use force with not 1 but 3 security guards. Masks are enforced by a state mandate with reguards to people with health conditions, mental conditions and age, NOT A LAW!! Not only will you lose our family but we will be spreading to word on how you find it appropriate to treat your customers.

Menards in Brainerd is an awaful store and the General managerial a big DICK. I’m sorry I totally understand the whole mask deal but to legit not let someone shop in your store because you have more than one legit medical condition that doesn’t allow you to where one. What has this world come to 😡😡😡 I will be calling corporate on Monday!!!!sorry had to vent... I was walked out of the store and told they did not have to let me shop. By Tim cook

When you have customers coming in that have medical exemptions for not wearing masks and you train your employees to say “they don’t care, we aren’t selling you this unless you wear a mask! Your pathetic! It’s illegal in the first place according to ADA regulations, it’s against the mandate for MN which clearly states exemptions for medical reasons. You are closing your own doors! I hope you get sued to the point of closing your doors.

I was confronted at menards Baxter by 2 employees demanding I wear a mask or leave. I was disappointed but was ok with leaving. What pissed me off was my wife who was wearing a mask was told because she was with me she was not allowed to purchase the items she had picked up. I agreed to leave menards and never again will me or my family shop at menards. Menards is great at discriminating! At least homedepot cares about all of their customers!!!!!
