This place gets no stars!Worst care in the world! Update and addition to original post.. what is the point of having an appointment if you can fulfill it. Im sorry but having an appointmeny scheduled for 1600,to arrive and be told its almost a two hour wait is a sprry excuse.. this is not how you take care of sick and injured veterans. We are not cattle you can just herd whichever way you want.
I originally enrolled in the va hospital in Tuscaloosa,AL due to it being 5 minutes closer to my house, after finding out that I had a issue that the nurses recommend me going to the er I come to the Memphis va hospital to seek medical treatment due to the fact it's closer to my work, enrollment went smooth, staff was friendly, but when I have been sitting out here for 7 hours and have only had my blood drawn and there are others with broken limbs and cancer that have been here longer than me, I feel this is uncalled for and... read more
No TV in waiting room of eye check in clinic? Bad news when you arrive hour early than your appointed time?
My dad had an appointment and also his inner ear canal was examined. He was told to purchase an over the counter product, which he did. Recently, he received a product by Major Pharmaceuticals called EARDROPS EARWAX REMOVABLE AID. On the side of it states "contains products known in the state of California to cause Cancer". Yet it was shipped to my father and to add insult to injury, he was billed $27 for it. The VA does business with companies that medication has life threatening effects. Wow!
