A BIG thank you to my MHM family for taking such good care of my son Chris. Chris had knee surgery on Wednesday and he was well taken care of by the Same Day Surgery nurses and the OR staff. Many other members of my MHM family checked on Chris throughout the day and their kind words were greatly appreciated. That’s just one of the great things about our hometown hospital. My Dad stayed one night and we snatched him up the next morning and moved him to Bainbridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation. His room was filthy, his headboard looked like rats gnawed on it and he was just hanging off the bed. I made photos on my phone. I would love to send to the CEO. My Dad was a volunteer there for almost twenty years.
I am glad to see people recognized for the work they have done. However, why not send some love to the nurses who have worked a 12 hour shift with no help at all more than once. Or have not had a raise in 5 years, or have lost their retirement due to the hospital not having the funds. While all along the hospital is hiring new employees for an incredibly high income.
