Great food!! Cute building located by adorable historic homes.
The prices are almost as good as the food. Great country style flavor.
We have been to Mels during mid afternoon and evenings. The afternoon visits are normally line free. For the evening meals, we have had to wait a while, usually not longer than 30-45 minutes. We have yrt to experience bad service or less than excellent meals. If you leave hungry, that's your fault. Thd best item on the menu is everything. Although I wish that bacon could be switched out for something else on the mega mel, but such is life.
The food is good and reasonably priced. The ambient noise level is at times a distraction.

I love to eat at Mel's. The food is awesome! It is such a treat. The only problem I have is deciding what I want, because everything is so good.
