Melinda is an excellent mental health provider who is very personable and approachable. She has a very hands-on approach to helping patients through their mental illnesses. I’ve been to several psychotherapists and psychologists and none have provided the proactive care that Melinda has.
Melinda is very nice and an excellent listener who for the most part operates consistently and professionally. Sometimes she is late, but that isn’t enough to detract from the quality of her care. She can be both rigorous and down to business as well as allow for more free flowing sessions depending on what I need. My mother and I both have benefitted from her care. As an autistic person she understands my condition very well.
We had a terrible experience with Mindy Parker and I would not recommend her to anyone. I feel that she did more harm than good as she diagnosed after one 1 hour visit. Also as stated she does not take insurance but promises to provide a super bill for insurance reimbursements. She insists on payment PRIOR to your appointment. She has your payment method on file and charges you the day before your appointment. It took almost 3 months for her to give me the super bills I needed for reimbursement.
