I had surgery 6 months ago. Very satisfied with the results.
My wife went in to the hospital for a kidney stone and kidney infection caused by the kidney stone. Dr. Ketchandji put a stent in and told us that she would do laser lithotripsy on the stone in 2 weeks allowing the stent time to dilate the ureter. Upon the follow up visit, she told us that she would do a shockwave lithotripsy 3 weeks after she put the stent in. We then looked for a second opinion where we learned they would have left the stent in for 2-3 days before breaking up the stone.

There is no one my wife and I have come to trust as we have Dr. Ketchandji this past year in treating my medical needs. Just weeks ago, Dr. K performed a radical nephrectomy on me to remove my right kidney and large attached tumor. Not only is Dr. K extremely knowledgeable & highly skilled, she is personable and has such a calming demeanor that she puts her patients at ease even during a crisis. She and her staff meet the highest standards. It is an honor to highly recommend her to all we know.
Loved Dr. Ketchandji! Took great care of me-and explained my procedure. Made me feel very much at ease. Takes the time to answer questions and didn't rush my appt's. Very caring and concerned.

Dr. K is an excellent physician and surgeon. Every visit has been thoroughly enjoyable. She put me at ease and ensured she educated me on my current is, tests for pre-op and my surgical procedure. Gretchen bedside manner and always takes the time to time educate the staff working with her. I have an antibiotic-resistant urinary tract infection that I've had for a few years now. She is bound and determined to find it and to kill it. I am very grateful that I was able to get into her. She is ON this!
