Saw their van and since I am new to the area called the number. They asked if I'd like them to come over today paid triple expedited service I signed off on their phone and did not see that instead o $817 it was $1,817 - afterward the pipes still leaked. On return told me it would be another $350 to fix they work they didn't finish. - stay clear of this place folks!
Came out and gave an estimate for $1350 and then turned around and said they made a mistake that it would be over $2400. Charged $260 to add around 2ft of waterline.
Pricing is a huge problem. Just a total quote, no breakdown. No itemized invoice, just a total.
The Meetze pluming company charged me $355 for a straight forward kitchen drain cleanout. It took about 1/2 hour,. They took advantage of this elderly couple. A reasonable charge would have been half that much.

The technician, Steve, was not skilled in customer relations. He said that he was unable to provide the service because of regulations imposed by President Obama. He said that he did not want to fight. I am elderly (81) and fragile and would not have attempted in any way to fight him. I paid for the service visit and got him out of my house as rapidly as possible. If I see a Meetze company vehicle in my driveway again, I will call 911.
Business response:
Our plumber did go by the customers home to quote a new water heater. The existing water heater was located such that some additional work would be required. Water heaters are now larger due to the NAECA act which improved the efficiency. Due to this we tried to explain the cost for the additional work. We regret that we were not able to communicate the total cost. Our plumber did call the office during this visit to speak with our manager. In our judgement it was best to leave the customer with a quote.
Company is very over-rated, gouges customers especially senior citizens. I live in a condo and was having problems with a washing machine backing up. I called Meetze, signed an annual service agreement, and paid $862.63 which included the $89 service agreement. Meetze was not only to solve the problem in my condo but also indicated a review of the pipes "on the other side" of the wall owned and controlled by the condo was included in the $862.63. Chandler and his crew did and excellent job. Fast service and knowledgeable, courteous. And respectful.
Our hot water heater needed to be replaced as well as some outside water fixtures. Robert S****** and his apprentice showed up on time and got the job done, So personable and easy to work with! Highly recommend.
Had water heater replaced by Kevin at meetze plumbing. Arrived less than 30 minutes after calling. Great job. Covered the work and priced out the job beforehand. Kevin was very thorough and helpful.
