Our dog ingested rat poison so we brought her to an emergency vet in Slidell who administered immediate treatment but strongly recommended overnight care to ensure her absolute safety. They recommended Medvet so we drove to Metairie. The vet said she didn’t need to stay over night and that we should just bring her home. RecommendedWonderful team! They took excellent care of our Pablo and helped him recover from acute renal failure. Dr. Ralph and Dr. Daniels are caring and knowledgeable vets. Everyone we interacted with was amazing. I would highly recommend MedVet to anyone!

The team at MedVet are exceptional. They took really great care of my Border Collie Rudy numerous times. Dr Lang is the best surgeon around. She operated on Rudy twice (TPLO) and I highly recommend her. dr Ralph also is an excellent veterinarian who took GREAT care of Rudy when he had AIHA. I was extremely impressed with their compassion and knowledge. Highly recommend MEDVET!!!

It is a state of the art facility with very kind and compassionate people.
My husband and I had to bring our dog Sassy to MedVet as an emergency with her blood platelets. Everyone was so caring. We had to leave Sassy there for 3 days. The doctor called 3 times a day keeping us posted on her care. Once home we still received calls checking on Sassy. We are so grateful to the doctors and staff. They saved Sassy’s life. I would definitely bring Sassy back. I would give the 5 stars.
The staff and doctors were amazing. We had a long wait do to Emergency pets coming in but once we were brought to the back everyone was super nice and kept apologizing for the wait. If we ever have another emergency with one of our fur babies we will definitely go back to medvet.
