Worst ER ever. But great labor and delivery section. But terribly terribly slow ER, which is where you need help the most
I have always loved MedSTAR Montgomery general is our local hospital until my husband was taken there the day before Thanksgiving unconscious from a restaurant that we were having dinner. He was under the influence of alcohol and was determined to have a brain bleed and had to be rushed to Georgetown University medical center. This is the wrist hospital EVER!!!! I wouldn't send my dog to here to get help. A nursing home is better than the staff they have in here.
Ended up with a $206 bill for each of my two children for a COVID-19 test because of the way they billed my insurance company. I would not recommend getting tested at this facility unless you want to pay.
RecommendedI have worked in a hospital and have had many experiences in healthcare both as a patient and a caregiver. The Labor and Delivery department of this hospital has the most exceptional staff I have ever encountered. A thank you is no where near enough for what they do for mothers, fathers and their newborns. I felt so safe and tremendously cared for by every single doctor, nurse and staff member.
