Weekend before last I went to the Medical Center of McKinney's ER for abdominal pain and was scheduled for surgery that next day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and all they did for me during the diagnosis process. The ER staff was great, the surgical team was great and the post surgical floor staff were just amazing and made a very traumatic time as ok as it could be. Thanks to all of you! A big thank you to the best pre-op admissions RN ever Christi. She personally guided me through all the steps and took the time to listen to my concerns and explain everything thoroughly. I have every confidence my upcoming surgery will be smooth!
Love this facility! Had my daughter here and got excellent care! All the nurses were so amazing, friendly, prompt, and imformative. Food wasn't bad and was a very clean environment. Spacious rooms for visitors. They also follow up and check on you after you leave and send sweet, personalized cards. Definitely recommend them to all expecting mothers! Outstanding care!
The day staff in the ed are the best they took good care of my wife's aunt today. The nurses and pa Justin were very good at what they did.
Our 1 year old son was really sick with a high fever, we went to the ER and they got him in a room right away! The doctor & nurses were SO sweet to our son, and we got in and out within 2 hours!!! They even called a couple days later to see how he was feeling!
Was sent to the ER here for a suspected kidney infection that turned out to be a ruptured/abscesses appendix. My surgeon, Dr. Mapula, was awesome and had great beside manner as did his PA and my infectious disease dr, Dr. Torten. The nurses on 4th south and the orthopedic hall took excellent care of me as well and the phlebotomy Dept never missed a vein when they did blood draws. If you choose their Hospice care, don't believe it when they tell you they bring in a rolling folding bed for exhausted family member at night. We still are waiting for a "cot", the security guard is supposed to be bringing it up. If you offer Hospice care, this kind of item is not out of the ordinary. Maybe the guard is building a cot, out in the parking lot??
