I went in for hip pain a few months ago. They treated me like a fiend trying to get pain meds and didn't even take the time to try and resolve the issue. A week later I went to Mease countryside and was diagnosed with bone spurs in my hip, severe arthritis, major cartilage loss, and am going to require a full hip replacement. Our family had a bad experience. Do not be afraid to call AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) if you are not given proper care. (888) 419-3456. I had to call them last week to report withholding of medications (non narcotic) and inappropriate conversations. People should think before they speak. I wish there was a ZERO star option!!!!! I went in to the Citrus Park ER with signs and symptoms of some sort of infection. I had a CT scan and everything came back normal. The doctor misdiagnosed me and I knew what he diagnosed me with was incorrect. My wife and I just had the privilege of delivering our baby boy at the Medical Center of Trinity. Though we are both employees of HCA, I feel qualified to give an unbiased opinion on the obstetrics department of the hospital. The care my wife, baby and family received was top notch. Everyone we came in contact with from food service, environmental services, medical records, security, NURSING, to the volunteers maintained a professional, courteous, positive attitude. Had lab and x-ray done as an outpatient. Despite having my Dr ordering some off the wall blood test, Shelly and Diane joked to pass the time while determining what and how many tubes to draw. No waiting when I went for my x-ray either, both Kim H and Roseann were professional and quick. Thank all of you for the quick service.

The patient care was very poor and I think when someone comes into an emergency room because they have an emergency (like maybe they can't breath! )Asking them to sign into a machine and enter all the information before even talking to a person is ridiculous! Where has one on one patient care gone? You have a nurse or paramedic sitting right across from us on his phone and texting which seems to be more important then the people coming in.
