I was checked in the ED with previously diagnosed Flu B that same day. I was coughing so hard and nonstop I could barely catch my breath. When I got into the triage room the only help I was offered was a chest x-ray and was told that this is the flu and we will just have to "Tuff it out". I was In the ED for about 5 hours incessantly coughing. My chest x-ray results came back clear. I was given 2 scripts and sent on my way. Please teach the ER staff about proper hand washing and to use gloves. Doctor comes in our room ,takes gloves off from leaving another room,he puts the dirty gloves on top of the IV pole in our room ( there's a trash can ,put gloves in the trash) .He doesn't wash hands,he doesn't use sanitizer,he goes and gets another pair of gloves to put on.
