It is usually a very short visit but not today in my case they were really busy over there but that is to be expected I guess! I liked it it’s not the first time that I have been there
I can't express enough positive words about the staff and doctors at this location. We drive 35 minutes from Ellwood City to use this facility versus going elsewhere, much closer to where we live. Between our daughter and me, we've been there 3 times since February; within the past couple of years at least 5 times or more. Their diagnosis is always right on, but why I am praising them is the follow-up telephone call we always receive a few days later asking how we are doing or if we have any questions. Every time I go there they take for ever! I am here now, just for a flu shot, and have been waiting for an hour and still waiting!!!!!
So one week ago I came to this facility for help for a rash, tightness in my chest and extreme headache. I got yelled at by the female doc. Told a rash was a rash and there was nothing they could do. I couldn't even talk because this "doc" was too busy telling me I was over reacting and being a hypochondriac.. So anyway... I go to my PCP a week later because they rash and headaches are not gone and I test positive for strep throat.. Thanks med express. You have proven your incompetence. If I could give zero stars I would.
Had a bad cough for over a week went there instead of the hospital and glad I did,I did not have a long wait to get back to exam room and was given a breathing treatment and x-rays and diagnosed with bronchitis. What would have been 3 or 4 hours in the hospital was only there a total of an hour,very nice people and the doctor was very friendly. Will go there again if I need to instead of the hospital so I won't have to wait so long.
I went for an infected tooth and they were quick, courteous and efficient.
I think it was ridiculas that they stated to me that my 91 year old mother who has altzheimers for 15 years needed a photo ID. She has not drove in 15 years and getting her to get a picture is crazy. Then was stated to me that she would not get any scripts because of that I said thats fine I just need an x ray to see if it was broke. Then when I left they did give me a script. Person in front was not people friendly especially when dealing with the elders.
I went there in extreme pain with a pinched nerve, had a long wait, paid what is a truck load of money for me and left in extreme pain and 24 hours later I'm still in extreme pain because there are too many pill junkies in the world and these folks will not prescribe a pain killer to someone who really needs it. I'm in agony, trying to figure out how I'm supposed to get work done today and tomorrow that will not wait or keep.
