I won't be back to a MedExpress ever again. Took my husband on a Sunday thinking he had the flu (which he didn't). Got a huge bill a month or so later for the entire cost. Med Express told me to get a retroactive referral from my doctor. That didn't do any good. Per my insurance company, the Nurse Practitioner is listed as a "specialist", the visit was billed as an office visit (not urgent care), and the NP listed herself as the referring doctor. Long wait time!! It sucks!!!! Doing a drug test for new job and been here way to long to pea in a cup!!!!!!!
I went to this clinic on Sunday and after the nurse practitioner touched my face and throat I was told she doesn't think anything is wrong and to go to the doctor Monday...I was admitted to the hospital within 12 hours of leaving the clinic. My symptoms were fatigue, difficulty breathing, and coughing. A google search will give you my diagnosis, pneumonia. I will not be returning. Very unhappy and I was told they would call to check on me within two days. I'm still waiting.
The front staff were AMAZING!!!!! Very friendly. The “nurse” who took my son back to check vitals & such was nice; however I over heard her telling the NP she may need to swab his throat again(she did not repeat it)because he wouldn’t let her get a good one. He sat with hands in lap, head leaned back on the wall, mouth opened & did not move. It hurt for him to open wide, so she used the tongue depressor & then barely swabbed him. I will continue going back here when I'm sick. They staff is very nice and helpful and they get you in and out in a timely manner.
I have been in twice both times was very quick. Everyone was very nice, they called a few days later and checked on me.
Ridiculously slow. Only use as an alternative to the E.R.
