The nurses and front desk are great! Gentle and caring, but daughter given oral antibiotic for swimmers ear, NP said we could do otc drops for Pain But it would be a waste of money. 5 days later still in agony had to take her back to an actual doctor and was told the oral antibiotic wouldn't even treat the infection and gave steroid/antibiotic drops. Unnecessary pain and sleepless nights for my child and myself.
The doctor and nurse were wonderful.....however I will not go there again because I do not appreciate the fact that I was charged for services and then notified after. I have not even recieved the breakdown of what I had to pay for the diagnotsic I can only assume but I was charged yesterday and received the notification for it today. I have no problem paying for the service but I want to know ahead of time so it is planned for and I also like to know what it is Im paying for. I'm so impressed with the care at this facility! I also appreciate the follow up calls this week about my grandson that was sick Strep and the flu was ruled out initially but continued to follow up with us every other day to check on his status and recovery. Thank you Port Huron Med Express!
I took my 18 month daughter in and was told she had an ear infection and diaper rash. The very next day, i took her to her pediatrician (out of ph) and she had no sign of an ear infection and it wasn’t just a diaper rash it was hand, foot mouth. I was also told my credit card would not be charged until after I had received a bill when in fact it was not a bill it was the statement saying the card on file would be charged on a date that fell on a Sunday when they weren’t open. My brother went there the doctor was a joke not worth going to at all
I went in with shortness of breath, burning chest, and headaches. The nurses were excellent - They listened, were attentive, and cared. However when the Doctor came in, he did a quick check of my ears and throat, listened to my heart beat, and then went on a 5 minute rant about narcotics. Then kept telling me it's anxiety. I explained I've had plenty of anxiety attacks, this feels nothing like that. I thought they were very good and didn't have to wait long at all
Was not impressed at all. My wait time was great and so was the lady checking me in but as soon as I got back in the room the nurse acted like she was in a hurry to get me out of the room and the doctor was just plan rude I told her everything that was wrong with me and all she told me to do was go to the store and buy over the counter medicine and if I'm the same or worse next week to come back!
