It was my first time to Raleigh so me and my family decided to look for food and we came upon this restaurant called Mecca! Well let me just say we didn’t get a chance to eat anything because we left after waiting for 12 minutes for acknowledgement! The people behind us just sat down were greeted and given menus before we were! Also when we asked for menus from the waitress who said she also works for Carabbass she got a hateful attitude and placed the menus down saying HERE! Girl ByE! Was passing thru town and made a quick stop for dinner. Dinner special for 2 was like $20. Now thats a good deal and food was satisfactory as well.
Staff was good, food was just ok. A little overpriced.
Loved it! Wish we hadn’t waited so long to go! Can’t wait to go back!!
Food is good. A Southern Comfort gem. But... don’t go during busy times. Service can be lacking when they get busy. Also, go earlier in the day. They do run out of some menu items. It’s nostalgia at its best.
Completely in love with this place, Great service and amazing food!
