Don't use on the Cape! – While the plumber was nice and seemed knowledgeable (time will tell if he was), what a nightmare this turned into. He was from the Cape himself, but didn't know where to get parts in my area. Disappeared for 2 hours for parts, despite my telling him of the home center 1 mi from my house. Messed up what he was doing - he apologized a lot. I tried to push him along late aftn. He didn't finish until 7pm. A decent plumber would've spent less than half that time on this project. once a crook always a crook – This guy closed his prior business 2 years ago then reopened this one under the new name; he hasn't a clue what he's doing. Screwed up my kitchen pipes using the 3 stooges for workers and left me with 3 leaking pipes and a 2000 dollar credit card bill, telling me 3 days later he'd closed his business and couldn't do anything for me but would "fix" the problems. He never came back. Cost me another 500 to have someone else fix his "work." He is a crook plain and simple.

One of worst contractors out there – He was 2 hours late, His quote was for $160 to fix the leaking pipe. When he found out that the disposal had to be replaced he did not simply add the price of the disposal to the quote ($150). Instead the total bill came to $565. He actually charged us for travel time at $160/hr, which he never quoted on the phone or in person. He did not get an approval from us for the new estimate. He left no receipt for the new disposal, Ask for a written quote, and refuse to pay anything more!

CONSUMER BEWARE – MCP's plumber just came to my house to attach a simple side sprayer for a kitchen sink - which I had 2 brand new ones ready to go - the gentleman broke both hoses and had relatively no idea what he was doing. For $135 ($90 / hour + $45 "traveling time" from their office 2 minutes away), I am irked to say the least. Had I gotten over the shock of being suckered before he walked out the door, I'd also have realized he only worked on it for approx. 30 minutes.

Very Strong Service Department – I have to say to the contrary of BLAH i think MCP was great. Very well educated service technicians and i have been using them for years. The aren't deceptive they are a local company from Worcester Ma and they don't over charge. If everyone hasn't noticed we are all on hard times right now and the economy sux. They are right on with labor rates and you can check around i guarantee every company charges at least 15 minutes of travel time and well lets face it overtime rates aren't good but th... read more

BLAH – Deceptive advertising, they looked like a local company based on their ad but were not. Charged 15 minutes travel time both ways at 135.00 per hour. Tried to replace a bunch of parts on the boiler that were fine including my circulator pump, told me it wasn't working even though the return pipes were hot? Also told me a check valve was bad because when he took the jam nut off the insides came out, I have been in the business of selling these types of parts for years and they all come apart like that but he made a big ... read more
