RecommendedVery friendly staff with good bedside manner. Hospital was clean and organized. I felt Comfortable and in good hands.
From admission to discharge, I had nothing but an excellent and positive experience at McLaren Macomb Hospital. Nurses, Doctors, and all staff were absolutely amazing during my stay. I highly recommend the labor and delivery department to any expecting women. You will not be disappointed!
I wouldn't recommend this place to even my pet if I had one cause they not only prescribe you what your allergic to and whatch ya come back in a second go round as if nothing ever happened when it did and they had your list of allergies plus current meds in front of them the whole time. Had 4 surgeries this year, all at McLaren, and more than satisfied with level of care.
I have been coming to this hospital most of my life when needed. I find the staff very kind and friendly. The problem I witnessed last week when my sister was in ER. The hospital needs to train each and every person responsible for putting in IVs. What I witnessed was everyone trying to get a vein. Began in the emergency room....the young lady was fantastic at customer service but did not know how to find a vein. My dear sister suffered thru this torment for three days. All seemed apologetic. It clearly is a problem there.
Unethical billing practices, at best! Despite our honest and straight forward attempts to proactively handle this situation, absolutely nothing has been resolved. Our insurance company denied a claim, and we were assured we weren't responsible for the costs because of the contract; however, nearly TWO YEARS later we receive the FULL bill from the hospital.
