I just want to share how wonderful the whole crew is at McHenrys. They are kind, compassionate and so helpful at a time when that is really what you need. When we knew the end was nearing for my mom, we set up our first meeting with Drew. It was wonderful to get some of the logistics done before the time came. When it did come, Drew and Jay came to pick mom up and they were so compassionate. They made it so much easier to get through that day. While going to a funeral home is never a place you want to spend time in, I have the say the folks who work here are all very nice and professional. Drew handled all of the arrangements for us. Including stopping the social security payments of the deceased, getting us as many death certificates as we wished, writing up the obituary and sending off various urns to different family members. Highly recommended if you have to choose a Funeral Home.
The McHenry Funeral Home staff provided compassionate support to my family and I following the passing of my wife. Their care in guiding us through necessary steps and periodic follow up contacts were very helpful and appreciated.
I had a very good experience with McHenry at a time when I was grieving and anticipating the death of my loved one and thereafter. When I first inquired about cremation services which I anticipated I would need in a few days, they were sympathetic to my situation and in a quiet room explained the process and costs. The passing of my angel wife was a very bittersweet and emotional experience. She had suffered decades with a very painful neurological disease that finally left her bedridden.
