Have always loved McHales, but the within the last year or so service and food has gone terribly down hill. Gave it one last try yesterday and had the worst service yet. Orders were wrong, refills took forever, food was not served as listed on the menu, and our server was seen/heard on 3 different occasions talking crap about our group of 8 to the kitchen staff and other servers. I came into Mchale's during October Fest with a group of five. The wait was 30 minutes and it was packed. I left a manager, Matt, my number and he called me when our table was available. After being seated, he personally went and got our drinks. The wait staff was very busy but overall did a great job. Very satisfied. Food was delicious!
Thoroughly enjoyed our first time being here. We will drive from near Charlotte NC to here again in the future for the food, beer, and ambiance & music.
Spacious, decorative and classy, great location, friendly patrons, and incredible staff--a bar that so beautifully captures the vibe and eloquence of the wonderful town it is located in. It is a rare experience for a pub to deliver this much, but Mchales does. If I ever pass through Rock Hill again, I now know where to begin and end my trip. Thanks for such a great night!
