Happy Hour Hotties – I go to McFaddens for Happy hour and they got some great looking people. Laid back and fun. The Girl who manages the place is a real hottie. Irish Mike makes it feel like a true Irish Pub, but what would I know for being a typical American. Not sure about the food, I go for the booze and the sights:)
Always a good time – McFadden's Philadelphia always amazes me with the amount of great looking, friendly people it attracts on a consistent basis. Of the 20 times I've been there, I've never seen a bad crowd. The music ensures a good time is had by all, the staff is not only accomodating but outright friendly which is rare for an "in" spot. The place never dissapoints and that is something to be said in a city with a lot of options. Consistency is the word and McFaddens always provides it.
A Terrific TEN! – You can't go wrong bartenders who are both cute and can serve a killer gimlet - Fun and upbeat bar I recommend to ALL of my friends.
This Place Rocks!! – Very cool bar. Gets very crowded, so it can be a bit of a pain to get a drink (which are also a little expensive), but great atmosphere and friendly people. If you haven't gone yet, check it out!
Regular Crowd – A place where you can enjoy music ranging from Bon Jovi to Cam'ron. It's a regular crowd of 20 somethings looking to meet people and dance a little. Good beer selection and plenty of room.
Fun...Sorry for those who are too cool!! – I think some people forgot to have fun in the city and all want to be "Wanna Be New York" style. This is Philly which is fun and McFadden's is fun. I am 28 and single and this place is perfect for the REAL PEOPLE. All the people who work there are regular people who treat you like you matter instead of all the other places that make you feel like U owe them something. The Irish Guy Mike is great and is soooo funny. He is worth the trip in himself.
don't eat dinner here – we had a very bad experience here. The food was bland and undercooked, the calamri was soggy and cold, the marinara sauce tasted like watered down tomato juice, we paid $35 for an appetizer tray that barely served 5 when the waiter told us it would serve 10. just overall, a very, very bad experience. I would NOT recommend eating here.
