The history of McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants began when Bill McCormick purchased Jake's Famous Crawfish Restaurant located in Portland, Oregon, and brought the more than 100-year-old landmark back to life. When asked the secret of how he revitalized a restaurant on the brink of closing, McCormick says, "I like nothing better than being a good host." We came at 1:30 pm for lunch and the place is empty (the SF restaurant is always full) so I am quite surprise. This restaurant is not the same as the SF location. The lobster bisque was all heavy cream with coagulating fat on top of it. Needless to say that it was not a bisque but looks like a cup of creamy dip.
