The history of McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants began when Bill McCormick purchased Jake's Famous Crawfish Restaurant located in Portland, Oregon, and brought the more than 100-year-old landmark back to life. When asked the secret of how he revitalized a restaurant on the brink of closing, McCormick says, "I like nothing better than being a good host." Wonderful Valentine Day's meal, special place, great food and service, romantic ambiance and comfy private booth. One of our favorite restaurants. Thank you for making our visit memorable.
We went to dinner on Sunday 2/12 at 5:30 pm. The crowd was low as they were not busy. The food in general was very average but salted very heavy. My son in law got surf and turf and got 4 tiny cold pieces of meat. My wife's seafood plate was extremely salty. Her shrimp was overlooked. The wine was good. We should have gone to Claim Jumpers and would have a better time. The waiter was very good but the food was poor.
They went an extra mile for a birthday dinner with personalized menus & an extra heaping of bread pudding dessert to make up for being out of creme brulee.
