Arkansas is my home state and have lived other places but a trip back home not complete without a stop at McClards. I wanted to order one of everything but knew that was impossible to eat. We had a meal there and brought some back to Texas with us. There are lots of good B B Q places but when you cut your teeth on McClards nothing else measures up!!
Sour, tangy BBQ sauce drenching a pile of chopped (apparently by a food processor until it is almost ground) beef; below average cole slaw; stale bun on pulled pork. The meat was dry and tasted old with no smoke flavor. The only things we ate were the French fries (good) and beans which were described by my husband as being baked beans with a can of Wolf brand chili mixed in. We took home the meat to feed the dog. Don't believe the hype! If this is the best BBQ in Arkansas I feel sorry for Arkansas.
ALWAYS Great!! I grew up in HS & my parents treated us to McClard’s often. Loved it then as a four year old and love it still. Celebrating 64 on February 11th� Best BBQ ever�

Very good. My husband and I split a whole spread and a barn sampler. Plenty of food, too much piled on the tamales for me but still very good. Will return.

Boo McClards! Checked the website (close at 8:00). Even called to make sure you were open. No one mentioned early midweek 7:00 closing. Drove from LR and arrived at 7:04. No BBQ and no apologizes. Boo McClards! Customer service stinks. So disappointing.

It was ok BBQ. Wasn't anything really special. Was good but wouldn't make a special trip for it.
