Classic BBQ. Ribs and Tamale Spread are awesome! Best tamale ever and some of the best ribs I have tasted. Try the Hot Sauce. Well worth the price. Excellent server named Jason who explained everything and made recommendations.

Went here because we were in the area and it’s listed in 1000 Paces to See. As with all things tourist you take your chances. That said, is it the “best” bbq I’ve ever had. No. Is it good bbq? Yes! Worth the stop. A little history, a little nostalgia,, large portions, good price, great service. I had the full rack of ribs. My wife the 1/2 chicken. Coleslaw and beans. Found this place in 1001 places to see. Well we saw and we ate. Oh my delicious. The coleslaw tasted almost like my grandmothers. Brought back memories next time we are this way we will return. Thanks for the friendliness of the staff and great food.
