I went to MB Bride, and thought they had a nice selection. However, when I was interested in a gown they told me I would need a size 6. Keep in mind I am VERY petite. I am under 5 foot and just around 100 pounds. I knew wedding dresses ran a bit small but this still seemed off to me. I went to another bridal shop, tried on a size 2 in a very similar sized designer, and it fit like a GLOVE!!! I'm sorry you felt that way but I can assure you our consultants want you to get a dress that is perfect for your body. All designers fit differently, for example, a store like David's Bridal is American fit so they are more true to size. A boutique like ours carries designer gowns that have European sizing so they run much smaller. A designer gown in a size 6 would fit very similar to a size 0/2. Very dissatisfied right now. First my experience in the store was honestly not great. I was told a consultant will come find me when no one even took down my name, and to just go look. I waited 30 minutes at least before my mom asked someone again to help us. The consultant was nice but the other people around it's questionable. Now... I wanted to say how pleased I am with the care I was given from selecting a dress for our vow renewal, to selecting accessories, from extra trips for alterations. I had a wonderful experience at MB at the end of July. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses. My consultant, Allie, was so helpful. She made the day very special for my mom and me. I ended up saying "yes to the dress" that day. I can't wait to take my bridesmaids back to find their gowns!
MB bride was amazing with me when choosing my gown. My consultant was so nice and did not care how many gowns my party picked/how many I tried on! I loved all of the dresses she picked out. I highly recommend MB bride!
They ordered the wrong dress for my mother in law. Ordered a new one that was the wrong size. Ordered bow ties instead of regular ties for the guys, despite me specifically picking out the tie. Ordered wrong size tux coat for groom. Horrible communication between the staff. Update...They told the groom on Wednesday that the correct tux would be in on Friday, the day before wedding. I really enjoyed both of my appointments here for wedding gowns. I first went on a Saturday afternoon during a trunk show and although it was crazy busy, Cayla was extremely accommodating and patient with me. I just wasn't ready to commit to a dress because there was one I had in mind that I needed to try on.
