Dot and I really enjoy their Shrimp Extravaganza. Especially the coconut shrimp. We highly recommend them!
This year the crabs were better than last year. Crabs were meaty..a few small ones but all of legal size. One of the better crab places around.

Best seafood around great fried seafood which is my favorite only criticism I have is the crab leg shells are a little rubbery I would suggest another distributer. Still tasty and the crab seasoning is improved old bay
The crabs were really small and not much meat. The table next to us got a tray and wanted to buy a tray of large ones because the all you can eat were not good. They were told they would have to pay for the soup and fries brought out to get the tray. Averys would never do that and the owners/servers at averys are much more about customer service and happy patrons, unlike Mays. This is not the first time disappointed at Mays.
Get the all you can eat, it's worth it 100% everything was great ! I found my new spot to eat Crabs / Crab Legs !
We have eaten at mays many times and the food is always great, good taste, clean, friendly staff , win win :)
About10 years ago, a bunch of guys were out on a bike ride from Pittsburgh. One guy had an issue with his bike so we stopped at the Harley dealer. They said it would take an hour to fix. We asked if there was a place we could walk to eat. Do u like seafood? We thought you had to drive to the bay to get good crabs. May's is better and not as far. We come down a couple times a year. NEVER been disappointed.
Sadly not much crab in the cream of Crab soup, we were very disappointed.
