We've been customers for 10+ years. I took my daughter last night and the crabs were horrible. Overcooked and dry. Even complained to the waitress. She brought more, a little better but not much. I called today to talk to the manager. She took my info and said she'd call me back. We were headed back to Ohio from my cousin's graduation in DC. We didn't have much time to go to Baltimore, as my boyfriend had been hoping to experience MD blue crab. Went their at 4:00 didn't leave until 9:00 last night, The crabs were real good and the service was excellent. I would recommend May's as one great seafood restaurant. Keep up the good work. I wish I remembered the name of waitress I would call them and rave about her
We didn't wait at all, our waitress was great, the food came out pretty fast then a rain & hail storm came! We were the only ones on the patio besides some staff. No one asked us if we wanted to move insaid!!! We travel the east coast alot & iv had better seafood in ohio. Sorry but it was just ok.
Was there yesterday evening, I got all the King crab legs you could eat and my husband got all the crabs you eat. Our first tray had 2 crab clusters and 4 or 5 crabs, next tray was the same. I was paying 46.00 for those crab legs so I would've liked more except for the fact that they were over cooked. They were rubbery and the meat was like tuna fish, not one solid piece of meat. They were the worst I've ever had but I did eat enough to try to get my money's worth. Crabs were good BUT not for almost a hundred dollar bill.
I had crablegs and they were good. I had the cream of crab soup and it was very thin and didn't have much flavor. I thought the all you can eat was alittle pricey... I shared a crableg dinner with my grandma and got one cluster with I thought there would be more. We had a very good waitress Jody who was very patient with my demanding family. Overall okay experience.
The crab cakes and the cream of crab soup are awesome. The service could be improved, along with the overall ambience and presentation. The price is decent, so I would give the place three stars.
