I love Maymont, I got married in the Italian Gardens. It has always been my favorite place in Richmond. Beautiful gardens and I love seeing all of the animals too.
Most beautiful city park ever, and best place for a picnic!
The grounds and the mansion are always a treat to visit, especially at Xmas.
I have so many special memories and photos in this park. It is beautiful year-round. It remains a constant attraction for me and all of my out-of-town friends and family when they visit.
Go to the Japanese gardens there when the leaves turn in the fall - absolutely beautiful. This park is just a wonderful place to get some fresh air and enjoy the day.
