Love the Japanese Garden, the course is ver scenic and well kept up.....grew up coming here and it never ceases to amaze me.

The best park in RVA....
We had such a special experience today with a behind the scenes tour of maymont. Somehow our guide Buzz managed to fully entertain 3 kids age 4 and under for 3 full hours. This is no small feat with my kids! They absolutely loved it as did my husband and I. I could not offer up a single complaint. It was one of those days that we will remember and treasure as a family forever.
My youngest nephew went on a school trip to this park and I have only seen pictures with a smile to prove it's worth. I heard it's beautiful, perhaps I'll rate it another two stars after visiting.
Terrible. This park has gone way down hill from what it used to be. Extremely disappointed
