Erik Maybee has to be one of the worst home inspectors in Wichita. He has no regard for the fact that he pays zero attention to detail. I have heard he has done the same thing to other home owners and it seems to be getting worse. I have his minimal home inspection he done on my home. I had it reinspected after I closed and moved in and started finding issues. He takes zero accountability for his errors. He needs to be stopped at inspecting homes. Based on the other 2 reviews on this site, I'd say that Mr. Maybee has systemic issues that prevent him from being a valued Home Inspector. We can completely relate to the other reviews. Though, I'll let the following be the judge. List of some of the things unreported by Mr. Maybee on our home: multiple nonfunctioning electrical outlets (one right inside the front door), 4 areas of obvious roof damage, collapsed filters around the blower assy in HVAC system #1, recurring moisture issues and burner assy corrosion on HVAC sys... read more
I purchased a "flipped" home and hired Mark to do the inspection. I am a single mom of 3 boys and the last thing I wanted was to get into a situation that I couldn't afford. The inspection was completed with no major issues so I closed on the house and moved in. As soon as I move in I realize that some of the outlets didn't work. I called the electrician out and was told something was wired incorrectly and they never worked to start with.
