Good experience – I have been visiting Javier for cuts and colors for some time and that will continue. He is very particular about everything he does, and that comforts me considering some of the hair traumas I've endured at the hands of other stylists. Everyone that works there is gracious and helpful. The manicurist, Norma, does great work and is very pleasant. I would highly recommend this salon and spa.

Great Haircuts if you dont mind a little attitude – Let me start by saying I love this salon and for the most part, the people that work there are pretty friendly. Having said that, there are some stylists there that have just a little too much attitude. Sometimes I feel judged by some anorexic 20-something with pink hair and an eyebrow piercing. I LOVE this Salon & Spa! – Recently, I was considering a pretty drastic haircut/style change and so I was nervous about going somewhere new. But I booked an appointment with Morgan, the Pure FX stylist and now I'm incredibly thankful I did. Their service, salon, and staff was outstanding. Morgan did a fantastic job by talking to me and showing me ways to style it (which I can actually repeat!) I will be returning to both Maximum FX as well as Morgan. Thanks MFX!

Wonderful! – I love this place! Javier is a magician with the scissors-he's also the co-owner. The staff are friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the prices for all of the services they offer are extremely reasonable. I went for the first time not too long ago, and they have made a repeat customer out of me! I was making a pretty drastic change, and Javier talked me through the entire cut, and showed me step by step several ways to style it.If you want an amazing hair style this is the place to go!

An Absolute MUST – Ok so I was looking for a new hair stylist and took a stab at this Aveda concept salon Maximum FX. Thank God I did they are awsome. I don't think you'll find anyone more skilled or talented than at this wonderful salon. I will recomend this sanctuary over and over again. Thank you guys so much especially Yvett.

Great Job – Javier did an excellent job on my hair. I came here based upon other's referrals. He is truly a magician what he did to my hair. The consultation was productive-he needed to know exactly what I desired. The shampoo was ok-but there was constant "pressure" to hear about Aveda during my haircut. The sale pitch made me feel a little uncomfortable.

I love Maximum FX! – Maximum FX is the best salon and spa in the city. They all take such great care of me. All of their services are remarkable. Its the best place for fresh look or a refreshing massage, facial or pedicure! I've also discovered that GC's from Maximum FX make the best gifts for friends and coworkers. Anyway...that's my opinion...Maximum FX is the best.

Javier is amazing – I have been going to Maximum FX for the past 2 years and have always had amazing haircuts. I have received my best cuts from Javier, and I recommend him to anyone. He charges $50, and it is well worth the price. He books up very quickly on weekends, but on weekdays, you can usually get in within one day. Also, I love the atmosphere and uniqueness of the salon.
