I’m very disappointed to learn that this therapy center does not conduct background checks on their therapists, even though they spend hours working closely with children. Parents trust therapy providers to ensure the safety of their clients, and background screening should be a basic standard. I have been employed at Maxim for almost one year, and my experience has been extremely positive. From the start, even though i had prior experience as a BT, i appreciated the 40 hour training provided. It was more thorough than what i had received with other agencies and every hour of training was packed with information. This has been the most horrible company I have ever worked for. BEWARE of this company, if you do decide to work for this company it's at your own risk, this is why: This company is so disorganized and chronically suffers bad communication skills toward the Behavioral Technicians as well as the families.
