We love to see nurses take the spotlight! The New York Mets hosted their first-ever Nurse Night to show their appreciation This momentous occasion began with a nurse throwing out the first pitch. Others were interviewed on air and later participated in an on-the-field ceremony. Check out the highlights!
Had a bad experience in my class when a student had a private nurse. Her negativity and disrespect towards me and my classroom caused a lot of tension. The agency did not seem to be willing to be proactive in dealing with the issue in spite of concerns from the parents and school.
Time for our final Caregiver of the Year spotlight! Meet our South Regional Caregiver of the Year winner, Gene Kelly, LPN. Gene has been helping the same family for 16 years, starting with them when the patient was just three years old. His dedication has allowed the patient to thrive and continue to have a good quality of life. Gene goes above and beyond for his patient and it is clear that he is more than a nurse, he is family.
