We specialize in Southern layer cakes.....true scratch recipes. We use fresh , local ingredients and offer a large selection of cake flavors each day. You can come in and purchase cakes by the slice, cupcakes right out of our case, frozen yogurt and ice cream.....or just sit in and relax with a cup of coffee. We can design custom cakes for showers, birthdays, weddings, anniversarys or celebrations. If you need a last minute cake for a get together, we have that too!

The banana pudding cake was very dry and it didn't have much banana filling as before,needless to say I was disappointed.

I have never been able to order a piece of cake.... I always have to go with the cupcakes, so that I can taste MORE THAN ONE! We drive from Durham at least once a month to get a dozen or so cupcakes... worth every second of the drive there and back. My children CRAVE them. My daughter swears that she will have a pink lemonade wedding cake one day!
I can’t say enough great things about this bakery. I drive from Winston Salem once a week, to get some sweet treats to take back home for friends, family & myself. I have many others hooked now, on this yummy deliciousness. Give it a try. I promise you will not be disappointed!

The Million $+ cake from Maxie Bs: We saw a beautiful Maxie B's' cake in the silent auction at the Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center's annual dinner. The proceeds from this cake may save the life of an unborn baby.
Wonderful place for dessert. I had the German Chocolate and it was perfect. I was surprised at the vast selection. Highly recommend a stop for cake!
Excellent bakery, wonderful atmosphere. Their cakes are wonderful and moist and serve a very good size slice. Coffee was also delicious.
