We specialize in Southern layer cakes.....true scratch recipes. We use fresh , local ingredients and offer a large selection of cake flavors each day. You can come in and purchase cakes by the slice, cupcakes right out of our case, frozen yogurt and ice cream.....or just sit in and relax with a cup of coffee. We can design custom cakes for showers, birthdays, weddings, anniversarys or celebrations. If you need a last minute cake for a get together, we have that too!

Really nice place - good atmosphere and great food
My family and I were visiting the area from Monroe NC and you never disappoint us! We love the cakes and the over experience your establishment provides. My husband especially loves the chocolate cake and the carrot cake is to die for! Each time we come to Greensboro, we make it a point to swing by Maxie B. for some cake!!!
Tried for the first time today,after hearing so many ppl talk about the banana pudding cake. It was sooooo good! Will definitely be back! Looking forward to the banana pudding again and trying other flavors. Thx!
