We specialize in Southern layer cakes.....true scratch recipes. We use fresh , local ingredients and offer a large selection of cake flavors each day. You can come in and purchase cakes by the slice, cupcakes right out of our case, frozen yogurt and ice cream.....or just sit in and relax with a cup of coffee. We can design custom cakes for showers, birthdays, weddings, anniversarys or celebrations. If you need a last minute cake for a get together, we have that too!

RecommendedIncredible desserts and incredible people. I will always support this wonderful local business. Greensboro is lucky to have something this great. The best cake, pies, cupcakes, and cookies around! I also love how they try to be eco-friendly and donate their money to great causes. ❤️💚

Maxie B’s was my all-time favorite bakery. We supported their business strong for 12 years. But I can no longer support this business in light of their hefty donations to Planned Parenthood. It’s a shame with all their success and growth over the past decade, they use their abundance to support the destruction of the least and most vulnerable among us. Our unborn children. I am very saddened.
Very unfortunate to see Maxi B’s supporting a Planned Parenthood event. Will not be able to return.

I applaud you for supporting the urban ministry and helping the hunger crisis in our city. However I do not applaud the fact that you are donating 10% of your proceeds from your sales on May 21 to an organization that supports-promotes and provides abortions. This makes me sad 😢. I love your cakes and have bought them for every important family event over the years-but I cannot support you in donating to an organization that profits from taking the lives of innocent babies.
