We specialize in Southern layer cakes.....true scratch recipes. We use fresh , local ingredients and offer a large selection of cake flavors each day. You can come in and purchase cakes by the slice, cupcakes right out of our case, frozen yogurt and ice cream.....or just sit in and relax with a cup of coffee. We can design custom cakes for showers, birthdays, weddings, anniversarys or celebrations. If you need a last minute cake for a get together, we have that too!

RecommendedI've been to Maxie B's a dozen times and I haven't tried anything that wasn't delicious. Just bought a cake bite sampler the other day, and they were amazing! Really great flavors, beautiful frosting, I'd highly recommend!

How can EVERYTHING be good???? I have to stop everytime I’m in town...I’m not sure if that’s good🤨 Kudos to the entire staff who makes magic daily. Your custom cakes...transformed into your best imagination. My “go to” bakery for fun, celebrations and just because!!!!
I heard so much about this place. I stopped in yesterday and bought classic chocolate cake and chocolate pound cake. The pound cake was dry. It kept crumbling. If it tasted good, i would have ate it but it wasn't good to me. The icing was sweet, the cake was floury. Beautiful store and atmospehere.

I love everything they have it’s the best
My family and I went here for the first time. The price was reasonable, the staff was really friendly, and most of all the desserts were delicious! Will go again! Oh, they have Pupcakes for the fur babies as well.
I just ate the BEST German chocolate cake ever. I live in Virginia and had family visiting me this weekend. I made sure to get my order in early. The strawberry cake with fresh strawberries was delicious also.
