We specialize in Southern layer cakes.....true scratch recipes. We use fresh , local ingredients and offer a large selection of cake flavors each day. You can come in and purchase cakes by the slice, cupcakes right out of our case, frozen yogurt and ice cream.....or just sit in and relax with a cup of coffee. We can design custom cakes for showers, birthdays, weddings, anniversarys or celebrations. If you need a last minute cake for a get together, we have that too!

Bought a very expensive pumpkin pie, the crust was tough and for the price I would have expected fresh pumpkin it seemed to be canned. No more pumpkin pie from there . My family usually seems to inhale a pumpkin pie, this one is still here. Not what I expected for over $30.00
They gave us this cake when it was NOT what we ordered. Abigail showed horrible customer service with ridiculous suggestions to focus on the birthday and not the messed up cake. My daughter fixed the cake in 10 minutes, see the before and after pics. If you have an event and want to count on the cake being right, go elsewhere. This was my first visit to Maxie B...there was a line outside moved pretty fast so don't let that prevent you from waiting...IT IS WELL WORTH THE WAIT ...JUST DELICIOUS

From the first phone call, the customer service was top notch. Responded to my email within minutes and perfectly explained cost and recommended flavors. Cake was absolutely gorgeous and equally delicious. So very pleased with it!
