I had a miscarriage last week and dr. Chen performed a d&c procedure. I'm having debilitating pain and the nurse in the office cant do anything. The doctor is not there. I barely got out of bed to walk to their office and theres nothing they do to help me. It's not enough that I lost my baby. Now I have to deal with the crippling physical pain of the after surgery on my own. They sent me to the ER. They dont take responsibility for what they do to you at all.
Hes a nice dr and he knows what hes doing, but hes not supportive and if you need to discuss anything with him, he's so short with his answers and doesn't have much to say. I have had several questions that he did not answer thoroughly. He will just tell you, "prescribing birth control pill" and send you on your way. Also the people at the front desk are not friendly or welcoming.
He's a good doctor he didn't let my husband cut our daughters cord.
He's a good doctor but... I'll be honest I lost most of my trust in him today though. I've been requesting sterilization since before my 20 week appointment. He had never said anything about the hospital not allowing them because they are catholic. Now I am 35 weeks and past the 30 day mark between now and my scheduled c section. If he would have been up front with me from the first time I asked I could have found a doctor that would be willing to honor my wishes for permanent birth control.
