I contacted this doctor on October 2 2025, because I was desperately in need of an iron infusion that was prescribed by my gastroenterologist and Dr. Taub's office was in network for my insurance. It is now October 28, 2025 and I have not received any iron but I have received a huge run a round and misinformation at every step. The telephones ring indefinitely with no answer. They didn’t even answer an emergency call to their answering service. Avoid this office like the plague.
Though the wait was extended, it was worth it! Dr. Daniel Mendes & Dr. Matthew Taub are charismatic, warm and compassionate doctors. Good-looking too! The care, attentiveness and dignity that they projected to my loved one and myself gave me peace of mind! The staff is friendly and facility is quiet & well kept.
When you call, no one greets you instead, you’re immediately placed on hold for an indefinite amount of time, seemingly with the hope that you’ll hang up. In the office, the wait times are extremely long sometimes as much as two hours in the exam room without anyone checking in. On top of that, they don’t follow up on lab results; you have to call in yourself, only to go through the same frustrating phone runaround.
Lacking customer service. When you walk in, no one greets you. That is because staff is behind a tinted glass. They only open and speak to you when they need you to complete paperwork. It’s a shame because the doctor is great but I’ll be finding somewhere else to go. For me, culturally, it’s very disrespectful especially with elder patients.
I went for a DNA test for follow up n this was my experience (after going there for treatment) my follow up was this 1st they used an expired test kit to do DNA test so the doctor thought... so had to do it again...go back n the doctor Wiz thought they were out of test kits but they were not ... then the Dr Wiz speculation was his GUESS was that the multiple test would come back positive n ask if I would consider chemo to ward off the test result n told him no without seeing results...it was a circle that took up my time n t... read more
