I have HAP insurance with DTE Energy, Detroit, MI. My Charcot foot (diabetic) was getting harder to walk on because of a bone spur that was large. After 3 years with another Podiatrist I found out from Hansen that surgery could improve my walking condition. It is done now and I am satisfied! The condition of my foot in the future will be due to my own personal attention- and advice from Dr. Matthew Hansen.
After years of surgery after surgery and going every 6 weeks to the Doctors for a small procedure on my foot. Dr. Hansen was able to correct the problem I was having, and now I have no more discomfort or pain. I have not been back to see him in 5 months. My feet feel great:) Thank you Dr. Hansen
Dr. Matthew Hansen was the 1st doctor that listened to my problems that I had with my big toes. He corrected it and was so kind and never dismissed me. The staff was just as helpful. Dr Hansen is very personable and treats people with respect. I'm very happy to say he it my doctor.
I had been to 3 foot Drs. previously. They all treated me a few times and said I'd be ok. I was not and subsequently did more damage to my feet. Since seeing Dr. Hansen regularly, my feet are in better condition then they've been for many years. He continually reviews my condition,revaluating treatment options. He is personable, caring, efficient, knowledgeable and makes every effort to see patients on time.
I went to Dr. Hansen to have an ingrown toe nail removed. I had previously had this ingrown toe nail removed by a family doctor but it returned. Dr. Hansen removed the ingrown toe nail and killed the root so that it will not grow back. With the first procedure down by a family doctor, I had pain after the numbing wore off, however after this procedure with Dr. Hansen, I did not have but a little bit of pain, nothing like what I expected from the first procedure. Dr. Hansen has done an outstanding job with my pre teen sons toe surgery and mine as well. He is very professional and his office staff is very nice. The office is clean and well kept. I would recommend Dr. Hansen for any podiatry needs.
Dr. Hansen was a great help to me. I had serious pain due to callouses embedded in the bottom of my left foot. Dr. Hansen removed them (they were long and deep in my foot). I have not had any pain for 8 weeks now.
Dr. Hansen is a an exceptionally talented, highly trained and technical surgeon equipped with the innate ability to fully resolve complex afflictions to a state beyond their original integrity. He recently performed surgery on my right foot to remove the bunion, in conjunction with straightening the toe and the results are remarkable.
