Dr.Avery was an absolute disappointment of a doctor to visit. I had a badly sprained ankle and unable to bear full weight due to the extreme amount of pain I was in.I was not insured at the time and paying out of pocket so he did not want to do an MRI , probably thinking the bill wouldn’t get paid . He has approved a patient to return to work who clearly needs a few days to recooperate.After just “looking “ no test were preformed of any kind while at the office.Was seen in 10 minutes Horrible Dr
Dr Avery was highly recommended to me by several of my specialty doctors. In addition I researched his academic credentials. When we met I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and his understanding of my problem. He explained the proposed surgery fully and explicitly. He eased my fears. Dr Avery’s follow-up has been helpful and satisfying. He takes the time to hear what I am saying and responds fully. I would recommend him to everyone and would not hesitate to use him again.
Dr. Avery is very patient friendly, I most appreciated his deameaner when we conversed. When we spoke I felt very comfortable with and when I departed I was also emotionally lifted about my healing... Marie, Maria, Gino and the XRay Technician were all cordial and pleasant. This office is not only organzied but very patient friendly. Dr. David Clarke did the initial surgery on my femur and the follow up with Dr. Avery was outstanding. Dr. Avery educated me about my injury, the healing process and overall care for my well being. I was out of town when I injured myself. He evaluated my injury and handled my case without hesitation. I flew home with instructions. In his office, he examined me and, much to my surprise, told me that surgery was not needed. He is an honest man, and gives his patients excellent care. Excellent surgeon. Really cares for his patients. I am very satisfied how he handled my compound fracture of the R Tibia. I am recuperating very well.
Dr. Avery was an outstanding doctor. He was kind and patient and explained everything he need to do slowly and in layman terms so I could understand the procedure. He smiled and was positive so I was confident of his surgery as I was put under. During our office visits he was never rushed and made me feel he was truly listening and in the moment.
