With much gratitude to Dr Avery, he saved my legs. I was admitted from the emergency room due to not being able to walk. My lower legs had become severely bowed with multiple fractures. I was fortunate to meet Dr Avery, who was not only patient with my 20 “but whys?” He was pleasant and educated me on what was going on. After my elbow injury I was referred to Dr. Avery and It was the best thing that could have happened to me. Not only is he a wonderful surgeon his patience and bed side manner is outstanding. I would definitely recommend Dr. Avery.
Dr. Avery is an extremely knowledgable Orthopedic surgeon and I had the pleasure of being treated by him. He performed surgery on my fibula/tibula fracture and I was treated with the upmost respect, care and empathy for my condition. He made wise decisions for my well being. When I was admitted into Memorial Regional Hospital needing emergency surgery, I feel very lucky to have had Dr. Avery as my surgeon. He did an outstanding job and my recovery went well because of his excellent care. His office staff was very friendly and efficient as well.

I scheduled my appointment on my chart for 7:30 on a Wednesday morning with Dr. Avery he was understanding and concerned about my wrist that was broken on Saturday due to a fall. He scheduled me the next day. I was so happy because I’ve been in pain since it happened. I’m very satisfied with the surgery and I would recommend him to family and friends.
Dr Avery is a great orthopedic surgeon. With his care and undersstanding i am walking without knee pain.
