One of the charms of the bar is the descent. You need to take the stairs down to garden-level, getting that feeling you are sneaking into some dark joint for a secret meeting. Exposed brick walls and a big fireplace greet you upon entrance. Order a white wine sangria while snacking on appetizers that are far better than you'd find at your local bar. In this small space, it's hard to imagine there would be room for a group, but if you call ahead, there is a lounge in the back that can accommodate up to 15.

Definitely my favorite bar in Chicago! The staff here are sooo much fun!! And the food and drinks are incredible! I bring all my family and friends here when I want to impress:)
