DO NOT RENT FROM MATIK MANAGEMENT. I REPEAT...DO NOT RENT FROM MATIK MANAGEMENT. Steer clear of this company at all costs. No matter what they tell you, DO NOT TRUST THEM. This is the absolute WORST company I have ever dealt with in my life. They do not care about their tenants. They manage way too many properties with too little staff. They will nickel and dime you for everything you're worth. They do not care about you. Get involved with them at your own risk...don't say you haven't been warned.

Don't use this company to manage your property. They charged my tenant and me for carpet cleaning which was obviously not done. They left garbage in the backyard from the previous tenant which I had to pay to remove. They removed items from the yard and house but claim the tenants stole them. They are a fraud.

Don't use them to manage your property. They don't call you when things need to be fixed. They bill you for things they supposedly fixed but did the job halfway or not at all. They bill you and the tenants for cleaning the carpet which was never deep cleaned. They ruined my house to the point of where I couldn't sell it without doing repairs that they claimed to have done. They caused me to loose 2 tenants because 1 was living in unsafe conditions for 2 months without notifying me about an issue I fixed in a matter of days. ... read more

I didn't even want to give this company one star. They only care about the customer's money, not the customer. They only take work orders by email, not over the phone, just so they can ignore your work order and then take your deposit from you because the same problems you were wanting them to fix, are the same problems they blame you for on the move out date. DO NOT rent or deal with Matik management. They will try and get away with a lot of legal activity so have a lawyer or make sure you're well informed on your rights for the laws. If you happen to rent with them now and leave, they will try and falsely charge you for "not cleaning", "lawn mowing ", damage stuff", "turn maint supplied" ect.. Just to get your deposit so make sure and take lots of pictures and video type the house. We cleaned the house like brand new house befor we move out. 9/26/2014 Updated review I have found out from our own lawyers and on-line (very simple) research that a landlord can't buy new carpet on a tenants dime. I told this to Tom, he seemed to be unaware of the laws, so we will be going to court. An average carpet lasts 7 years or 3 renters. We know we were at least the third renters in four years.
