Nope!!! Short appointment. Serious medication prescribed with little evaluation. I’m sure following through would do more harm than good.
I just got done with by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a psychiatrist. She started off by interrupting me, while trying to explain some mistakes I had made on the questionnaire, (my phone wasn’t working so it auto answered most of it). She abruptly told me that she doesn’t read any of that anyways and she has her own questions. She starts going off of her list and interrupts me during any elaboration I give and moves us along. I would certainly be glad to recommend Dr. Fleischer. I have had the benefit of his advice as I have traveled through coping with the results of continuing and additional complications from a Mack Truck totaling my automobile in 1989. His kindness, sincerity and knowledge have helped me greatly. He is patient, thoughtful and I welcome his words that have given me insight through the years.
Dr. Mathur needs to be more observant and ask relevant questions about the side effects of the medication she prescribes. She continued to prescribe strong doses of medications without counter balancing the side effects that had a disastrous effect on our daughter. It appears that she’s only interested in making money without actually caring for her patients.
By far the worst experience i've ever had with a doctor. The first time I visited she told me to completely change my diet to cut out gluten and dairy without even asking what type of diet I was on and within minutes of meeting me. It was off putting and very out of context when she was not aware of my nutritional needs. The second appointment she did not tell me until after the session started she did not actually have my test results and we would need to reschedule. I would not recommend this psychiatrist. She is not good at setting people at ease. I have been with her for 3 years now and am very anxious to not be her patient any longer. She gives the same routine advice time after time and is very impersonal with her patients. Please, please if you can, try a different psychiatrist.
Her only concern is filling prescriptions. Looking for a more hands on psychiatrist.
Do not see Dr. Mathur!!! She is cold, uncaring and money motivated. She doesn't remember anything from one appointment to the next, I don't think she takes notes during the session as there is no follow up to any concerns I express. She wrote two different prescriptions for me and continues to ask me at every appointment if I had ever tried them. She told me to cut out caffeine to help my anxiety which I did and I still get told every session that I should cut our caffeine. Did she even write it down that I already did??? Sh... read more
I look forward to seeing Dr. A. and his great staff. I always leave feeling grateful to have such a good and caring doctor. I would absolutely recommend him.
