3 months ago I had Roux-en-Y gastric bypass with Dr. Hutter and the entire experience has been nothing but amazing. Deciding to have revision bariatric surgery at MGH has been one of the best decisions that I have made in my life. Bedside manners on a scale from 1-5 on the 7th floor are 5 without a doubt..
The best medical decision I ever made was to research transplant hospitals, choose MGH and get a referral for my husband. When he suddenly became critical, the team jumped in and he was listed and an organ was found in 2 days!!! The fact that Mass General is a teaching hospital has made the atmosphere one of sharing and learning which is not the case at our local hospital. I have had excellent care at Mass General in Boston .I go between Mass General cancer center in Northampton and Mass General in Boston. The communication between the doctors is excellent. They explain everything very very well by the time you’re finished with a meeting with them you do not have any more questions everything Is answered very well. I have had very successful radiation treatment four lung cancer at the Boston facility with excellent results.
