Specialties We serve Angeleno style Mexican food in a lively atmosphere. We make all of our food and cocktails by hand, with fresh ingredients. We are one of the few restaurants that welcomes large parties. History Established in 2011. We are the antidote all the "big plate" Mexican restaurants in town. And a step up from the taco trucks, with a nice place inside to sit down and enjoy a cocktail with a few friends.

This review is for the Sunday Mariachi Brunch. I love Más Malo, interior is gorgeous, good food, great service, and the band was really good. The problem was that they were just so incredibly loud that we couldn't stay to eat. Mariachis don't need amplification, yet they insisted on being projected through the sound system. Delicious authentic Mexican food. They handled a group of 22 adults and teens very well.

Good, but spicy food, decent service and the prices are bad.
Three stars for THIS visit only, previous visit five stars. Food, drink, setting- great. Service not great. And WAY too loud due to big corporate party upstairs. Very hard to have a conversation. Spicy cucumber margarita was delicious. Zucchini soyrizo quemado was so delicious I almost went back tonight for more.
Old historical building, high energy, good service, great happy hour menu and tasted a bunch of delicious salsas w warm fresh chips, pepinos, ate some tasty vegan pozole...and don't forget to head up the stairs after dinner for a night cap at the famous and beautiful Seven Grand great whiskey bar.
