Come to find out, if you don't go for a awhile, they charge you an extremely outrageous $400 "New Patient" fee. And they won't allow you to use a care credit card to pay for it either. I knew I should have just gone to Patient First. 2/6 may have been my first time back in a while. However, it also may now be my last time back in forever. All these people care about is what is in your wallet.
Very bad service every timeI try to get BP med renewed . Your office acts like they have no records of my BP script. I've been getting mail order from your office for years and your office said they have never done mail order for me . Then they said they have six addresses for the mail order and ask me which one they use . Look in your computer and it's the same place you've been getting them from . How hard can that be ! I am 72 years young, and up to this point have never had a primary care doctor. I had my first physical exam ever at the Arnold office, but because the Annapolis office was closer to me, I started going to them. My blood work results were so encouraging, that I decided to keep them as my primary care doctors and never go without seeing a doctor again. I might add, they all were very professional , from the receptionist to the doctor.
i am writing this because i have been a patient of MPC for 13 years. ever since the office was revamped and they cycled out their old nurses i have found that the nursing staff at the front desk who answers the phones and takes messages for the doctors is INCREDIBLY RUDE. like they're being inconvenienced. they don't seem to care that they're dealing with sick people. they have NO empathy at all. the nursing staff who take weight and BP and such are wonderful as are the doctors but these "nurses" who work the front desk are ... read more
I went on Monday for what seems to be bronchitis and waited an hour in the room for the doctor to come in and see me. She then said she thought it was a virus and couldn't give me anything, but if I wasn't better by Friday to call back. Well, I called back today, told the receptionist what was wrong and she said they'd call me back. I never got a call back and am still miserable. This isn't my first bad experience... I'm definitely changing docs. They don't care about their patients here.
